Art Scrum "Rugby is Art"

About Works

In 2019, in order to support the Japanese team in the Rugby World Cup, we brought together 15 leading cultural figures in Japan, including artists, musicians, architects and designers, all of whom have played rugby themselves. With the theme “Rugby is Art,” we held exhibitions of original works all over Japan. Developed by Quaras Art Lab together with Chokoku-no-Mori Art Foundation, it was the world’s first art program integrating art and rugby.
